Thank you for visiting our Hospice Web site.   Our purpose for being is to provide free of charge specialist palliative care services to patients and their whanau/families and care givers.   We hope the information you find on these pages lets you know a little more of what can be done if you need us.

General Information -

Hospice EBOP – CC 22782,  is a registered charitable entity in terms of the Charities Act 2005.

Our services are provided free of charge, but we cannot provide any financial assistance.   Our nurses cannot prescribe medication, they can only administer medications prescribed by a doctor.   Your GP will remain as your primary medical provider.   At this time we do not have in-patient beds however we do have knowledge of rest-homes that we can make a recommendation for you.
