Each of us faces death as uniquely as we live our life. Our experience tells us that most of us hope that when death comes to us it will be peaceful and free of pain, we all hope to face death surrounded by those we love, cared for, feeling safe and comfortable.
Hospice philosophy of care is not a building but a holistic approach to palliative nursing care. We strive to provide care for the whole person and their family not just physical needs but emotional, spiritual and social needs along with good practical assistance.
We are very grateful for the generous help we receive from our small but caring community. We could not offer our services free of charge without the support of individuals, grants and funding bodies and the business community. We care for families and friends both before and after a death irrespective of their social status, financial circumstances, age, gender or religious beliefs.
We aspire to ensure our patients make the most of every day they have left whilst in our care.
