Hopsice EBOP was selected by Farmers Whakatane to raise funds in celebration of 100 years of trading in New Zealand. The fundraising efforts commenced June and run until the end of August. Giving back to the community that have supported them for 100 years of trading was the motive behind the initiative and we were truly impressed by he innovation and dedication shown by Brian Strutt and the Whakatane team.
Brian’s team kicked of the 3 month fundraising activity programme with their very own Pajama Day on Saturday 20th June with all staff providing service plus, wearing their fluffy’s and flannels. All the staff and their families got beind the activities, baking cakes, running raffles and sausage sizzles, they worked tirelessly for the cause.
“What better community service to support than Hospice. Every dollar that is raised by the local Farmers branch was matched dollar for dollar by Farmers Nationally”.
