Christmas Raffle 2023



This Christmas we're having a very special raffle filled with some incredible kids toys and beach wear and all donated by Salt Air on the Strand, The Warehouse on Kakahoroa Drive and Chainsaws and Mowers Whakatane out at Gateway Crescent Coastlands.


You can buy a raffle ticket from any one of our three Hospice Shops in Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki and Kawerau or at the office on Goulstone Road. We shall also be selling tickets at our Community Remembrance Tree stands at New World Whakatāne, New World Ōpōtiki from the 27th November - 1st December 10am-4pm.


Tickets are $2 per ticket or 3 for $5 and can be purchased by staff, volunteers and the general public. All proceeds of the ticket sales will go to Hospice EBOP to purchase palliative equipment.


Tickets can be purchased up until Friday 8th December at our Kawerau and Ōpōtiki Shops and Saturday 9th December at our Whakatāne Shop.


The Raffles are split into two, blue and pink, based on the colours of the toys.


The Blue Raffle includes;

Youth Boys Salt Air Surf Poncho Hoodie (suits 7+yrs)

Husqvarna Toy Leaf Blower

3d Dragon Pop Up Kite

Lego Technic Concrete Mixer Truck (2nd Hand)


The Pink Raffle includes;

Roxy Toddler Backpack (will suit 2+ yrs)

Toddler Towel Hoodie (will suit 2+ yrs)

Roxy Bucket Hat (will suit 2+ yrs)

Glove-a-bubbles

Terms and conditions.

This raffle is open to the public, staff and volunteers.

The proceeds of this raffle will go directly to Hospice EBOP to purchase palliative equipment.

This raffle will be drawn on the 11th of December, however it may be drawn earlier or later depending on ticket sales.

Please fill out the raffle tickets clearly.

If the writing on the winning ticket is illegible, a new ticket will be drawn.

The winning tickets will be drawn by a random member of the public and not by a member of staff or Hospice volunteer.

All winners will be contacted by the details submitted on the ticket, if the winner is uncontactable after one week, another ticket will be drawn, and the same process will follow until a winner is found.

There is one winner for each basket - two winners in total.

There are two baskets, pink and blue.

All blue tickets are for the blue raffle, cannot be swapped, and vice versa.

Tickets are not refundable.

All decisions made by Hospice EBOP are final.
