Our Hospice Shops
While most of our funding is provided by Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, we do need to raise approximately a third of our operating costs to meet the shortfall.
Our Hospice shops are vital for helping us raise these funds.
Hospice EBOP have three Hospice shops, located in Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Our shops raise vital funds, which allows Hospice EBOP to continue to offer our free palliative care service to our Eastern Bay of Plenty community.
Whether you're looking for designer clothing, vintage furniture, books, china and bric-a-brac, we have a constant supply of quality goods and treasures for you to find at the Hospice shops.
We provide a FREE pick up service for larger items that you would like to donate. If you purchase any larger furniture or appliances from our Hospice Shops, we can also deliver them to you for a small fee.

We are grateful to receive donations from our community and we are lucky to be supported by an awesome team of volunteers who help with the day to day running of our shops and in our delivery van. Both the donations and volunteer hours help us to keep costs down, so most of our shop profits can go into funding the specialist palliative care our community deserves.
