A huge thank you to the Opotiki Golf Club, who hosted an ambrose golf tournament on Easter Sunday, 4th April 2021 to raise funds for Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty. Doris Petersen, a Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty Volunteer and Lyndsay Maxwell kindly organised this event and successfully gained many local business sponsorships to help with the prize table, donations and other expenses.
After a fantastic day on the golf course, this tournament raised a total of $4,425 for Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty. This was made up of registration fees and generous sponsorships and donations from local businesses.
Thank you to everyone who entered the competition, donated prizes and provided sponsorships. A special thank you to Doris and Lyndsay who organised such a successful event.
Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty is very appreciative of events like these as the generous contributions are injected back into the Eastern Bay of Plenty community, providing people living with life limiting conditions the opportunity to be cared for in a place where they are most comfortable.
