Are you committed to equity of outcomes for the Eastern Bay of Plenty community, particularly in the Health sector?

 

Rau Ora Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty is looking to fill multiple trustee roles. This could be your opportunity to have a significant impact on how palliative care services are delivered right across the Eastern Bay of Plenty region.

 

We’re looking for people who are ready for a challenge and can navigate through complex issues and periods of change, with a commitment to equity and inclusion.

 

This is a voluntary role and the skills and experience we’re particularly interested in to fill our current vacancies are:

  • Tikanga Māori or knowledge of Te Aō Māori

  • Clinical background/health sector experience

  • Social Sector management or Governance experience

  • Quality and risk assurance experience (health)

  • Diverse cultural experiences or knowledge

 

The commitment required is:

  • Eleven board meetings per year and an AGM.

  • Additional time outside meetings to read Board and sector documents

  • Optional commitment to committees

  • Occasional representation of Rau Ora Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty in the community
