Every now and then a donation will be delivered or picked up that will have us all in awe. We've had cameras from the 1930's, signed All Blacks jerseys, boutique furniture, car models, 80's Lego sets and more. William Stone Painting

William Stone was a British painter 1842 -1913.

Numerous key galleries and museums such as John Davis Gallery have featured William Stone's work in the past. At auctions his pieces sell for between £100 and £2000.

Primarily a landscape artist based in the UK, his artworks featured typical 20th century English country sides, with snow covered fields and roads, and moody skies above.

The painting we have though, is a lot brighter than the ones we have researched. Fresh green trees tower over a glassy river with snow capped mountains in the distance. It would make a beautiful addition to someone's cozy lounge or living space.

Made in the USSR. A doll wearing native dress of the former Tambov region. It's still in the original box and plastic which we don't want to remove - hence the crinkly picture!

‘The Friend of the Snow Maiden’

A Russian fairytale by Kholui Art Studios. This limited edition set was made between 1989 and 1990. Each plate recreates a true Kohlui lacquer original by Master Artist Sergei Dmitriev. They were produced with 16 ceramic pigments and gold highlights on hard-fire porcelain.

Each plate has all its papers including certificate of authenticity and story booklet in both Russian and English. Comes with the original box from the Bradford Exchange.
