Good in the Hood At Z Whakatāne

Thank you Z Whakatāne and Z Energy! This year, the Good in the Hood campaign at Z Whakatāne awarded Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty $1540 and that's all down to your votes! We're so grateful for everyone that voted for us, but also for those who voted in general!

We were blown away by the incredible mahi of so many organisations working hard to support our community — from conserving our environment and supporting our rural communities, to carrying out lifesaving search and rescue missions, and mentoring our young people to help them reach their full potential.

And that’s just a handful of the amazing groups we met — there were so many more, each with their own mission to make our community stronger.

Every organisation here deserves a platform to share their story. A huge thank you to Z Energy for providing that space — for shining a light on the charitable organisations doing such vital work and seeking the funding to keep it going.

We’re stoked to be part of the crew! And a special shoutout to Z Whakatāne for hosting our voting station — and for keeping our CE, Bryce, well caffeinated!
