As Christmas approaches, our Hospice Community Remembrance Trees will once again stand in Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki — beautiful spaces where our community can come together to remember, reflect, and honour loved ones who are no longer with us. 💛
We invite you to place a message on our trees — a small act of love that reminds us we’re never alone in our loss. Together, we can surround one another with compassion, remembrance, and hope during this special time of year.
Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty is a community service that exists because of you. While government funding covers only a portion of what we need to operate, it’s your generosity that keeps hospice care free for those who need it most. Without our community’s support, we may one day risk losing something truly precious.
So this Christmas, let’s stand together — in memory, in kindness, and in support of hospice care across the Eastern Bay. 💫
