On Wednesday, 8th October, Fisherman’s Wharf set the perfect scene for The Fisherman’s Hopped Feast, with its stunning views over Ōhiwa Harbour and a lively, sold-out crowd.
Guests were treated to an exceptional menu crafted by Chef Paul, who infused each dish with flavours inspired by Hospice Hops created by Mata Brewery. The result was a creative and delicious dining experience that perfectly complemented the evening’s relaxed coastal setting.
Entertainment was provided by talented local guitarists Jono Breakwell and Harper Sheedy, whose music set an upbeat and joyful tone throughout the night. With the beer flowing and conversation buzzing, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric.
The friendly and attentive staff at Fisherman’s Wharf helped ensure everything ran smoothly, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe. From the first sip to the last song, The Fisherman’s Hopped Feast was a memorable evening celebrating great food, local talent, and community spirit — all in support of Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty.
