Bigger Hospice Shop for Opotiki

On Monday 13th December 2021, the new Hospice shop opened in Opotiki. It sits next door to the old shop, but the new shop is much bigger. Our new shop address is 105B Church st.

Peter Bassett, Hospice EBOP CEO and Wendy Wright, Hospice Shops Manager were in Opotiki for the opening. Peter commented that "he was delighted to have a bigger and better shop in Opotiki. He offered a huge thanks to all of the volunteers who helped with the shift from the old shop to the new premises.

Peter specifically acknowledged the shop day manager Annie and her husband Ricky, who both worked tirelessly over the past few weeks to make sure the new shop was ready to open on time".

There was even live music at the opening, with some of the shop volunteers bringing along their Ukulele's and singing a few songs for the customers.

There is a large selection of furniture for sale now in our Opotiki shop. There's also a huge range of books, cds, jigsaws, crockery, clothing, bedding, bric a brac and many more treasures to be found.

The new shop also has extended hours, it's open

Monday to Friday from 10am - 3pm and

Saturday 10am - 1pm.
